1312 Interactive raises $1m in seed funding round
1312 Interactive, India’s first dedicated PC and console game publishing house, has secured $1 million in seed funding. The investment round was led by T-Accelerate Capital and ChimeraVC, with additional backing from Ventana Ventures and individual investors including Rahul Reddy G., Rohan Murukutla, and Dasari Srinivas.
The funding will support the development and expansion of 1312 Interactive’s publishing infrastructure, enabling the company to expand into emerging markets while providing comprehensive support to developer partners. This includes production assistance, marketing services, quality assurance, localization, and distribution support.
The company announced the launch of 1312 Playground, a community-led initiative designed to connect developers with players before official release. The platform will provide studios with access to playtesting opportunities, player feedback, and audience insights to inform development decisions and improve the final product.
The funding validates growing interest in gaming infrastructure in emerging markets, particularly across South and Southeast Asia where game development has been rapidly expanding. 1312 Interactive’s focus on supporting regional developers and expanding into emerging markets suggests an ambition to build sustainable publishing infrastructure beyond India’s borders.
