Here’s the second wave of Xbox Game Pass games coming in September
Xbox Game Pass’s second wave of September releases has been announced, bringing several highly anticipated titles to the subscription service. The headliner is Gears of War: E-Day, a major franchise entry and Xbox exclusive that serves as a prequel to the original Gears of War. The game follows Marcus Fenix and allies responding to the Locust invasion that would become known as Emergence Day (E-Day), offering players a fresh perspective on the iconic shooter franchise.
Alongside Gears of War: E-Day, subscribers will gain access to Dune Awakening, which is making its console debut on the platform. The game expands the Dune universe with new interactive experiences, adding variety to the month’s lineup.
Rounding out the notable additions is Minecraft Dungeons 2, the sequel to the dungeon-crawler spinoff of the Minecraft franchise, providing more action-oriented gameplay for fans of the series.
These additions represent a significant boost to Game Pass’s September offerings, with Gears of War: E-Day positioned as a particularly important exclusive for the Xbox ecosystem. The combination of established franchises and new entries aims to provide compelling reasons for subscribers to engage with the service during the month.
