Total War: Warhammer 40,000, Alien: Isolation 2, Modern Warfare 4, and more will be playable ahead of release at PAX Australia next month
PAX Australia is returning to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in October, with this year’s expo floor featuring an extensive lineup of playable games available ahead of their official releases.
Sega’s booth will be a major draw, showcasing four titles for hands-on play. These include Total War: Warhammer 40,000 with three distinct playable scenarios, the sci-fi horror sequel Alien: Isolation 2, Persona 4 Revival, and Yakuza: Stranger Than Heaven, described as a noir prequel to the popular franchise.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s multiplayer mode will be available for playable sessions ahead of its scheduled October 23 launch date, giving players an early opportunity to experience the game’s competitive online features.
Square Enix will showcase Final Fantasy 14 running on the Switch 2, offering attendees hands-on gaming sessions alongside themed activities including creating custom bracelets and taking commemorative photos. The expanded expo floor promises to deliver an extensive gaming experience, with multiple publishers and developers presenting their upcoming and established titles for convention attendees to experience firsthand.
