Escape from Tarkov Arena’s ‘Biggest Season Yet’ is Coming Tomorrow
Escape from Tarkov Arena is receiving its third season update, titled Morbus Imperium, with studio head Nikita Buyanov announcing it will be the “biggest season yet” for the extraction shooter spin-off.
Released at the end of 2023, Escape from Tarkov Arena serves as a companion title to Battlestate Games’ core extraction shooter experience. While the Arena variant has not reached the popularity heights of the main game, it has maintained a solid player base. The developer has consistently evolved the title through ongoing updates introducing new maps, game modes, weapons, mechanics, and integrations with the primary Escape from Tarkov experience.
The announcement of Morbus Imperium marks a significant content milestone for the game’s live-service roadmap. Buyanov’s emphasis on this being the biggest seasonal update to date suggests substantial additions are planned for the Arena variant’s continued development.
