Marvel’s Wolverine Player Glitches Out of Bounds to Discover Floating NPCs, Cars That Phase Through Walls, and the Edges of the Map
A Marvel’s Wolverine player has discovered a glitch enabling out-of-bounds exploration across the game’s map boundaries. YouTuber Turned published a video demonstrating the exploit, showing how the player character Logan can climb over an ordinary-looking building within the mission “The One That Got Away” to access areas far beyond the intended playable space.
Once beyond the visible boundaries, the out-of-bounds region reveals numerous graphical anomalies and environmental glitches typical of unexplored game space. These include floating trees scattered throughout the area, terrain geometry that phases beneath the map’s surface, and widespread collision detection failures. Turned documented their exploration all the way to the map’s hard boundaries, where the game world’s edge becomes distinctly visible with geometrically squared-off ground formations.
While clearly unintended, the discovery provides insight into game development methodology, revealing that developers constructed a considerably larger game world than players ordinarily encounter during standard gameplay.
