A highly anticipated fan-made expansion for Baldur’s Gate 3 has released after almost two years in development. The mod, titled “Baldur’s Gate 3: Act Two Expansion” and created by modder SquallyDaBeanz, adds significant content to address perceived variety issues in the game’s second act.
The expansion introduces a new area called The Chionthar Wilds, featuring over 70 new items and 30 new encounters. The addition allows players to explore beyond the Shadow-Cursed Lands, providing fresh challenges and discovery opportunities before reaching Baldur’s Gate city itself.
