Ace Attorney Trilogy Passed An Impressive Milestone, But No New Game Is In Sight
Capcom announced that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, the 2019 collection released for modern consoles, has surpassed 5 million copies sold worldwide. Across the entire franchise spanning multiple games over nearly 25 years, sales have exceeded 15 million copies. The milestone comes as the series approaches its 25th anniversary celebration on October 12, which Capcom marked by releasing new commemorative artwork created by character designer Kazuya Nuri and illustrator Takuro Fuse.
Despite the impressive sales figures and anniversary milestone, Capcom has not announced any new Ace Attorney game or confirmed that one is currently in development. The lack of news regarding future installments stands in contrast to the franchise’s continued commercial success and enduring popularity among fans, leaving the community uncertain about whether the series will receive a new entry or continue to remain dormant in the foreseeable future.
