Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Demo Launches October 1
Konami is preparing to launch a demo for the upcoming Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse on October 1st. The demo will include the game’s opening chapter and will be available across multiple platforms: Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series consoles, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
A notable feature of the demo is its save data transfer functionality. Progress made during the demo can be carried over to the full game version, provided players are using the same platform for both the demo and the final release.
The technical specifications vary by platform. PlayStation 5 and PC versions will run at 60 frames per second, while Xbox Series platforms will also support 60 FPS. The Nintendo Switch version will be capped at 30 FPS. Storage requirements also differ depending on the platform, with the PlayStation 5 version requiring the most space at 6 GB.
Konami has noted that the demo may include restricted features and content compared to the full game, though specific details about these limitations have not been disclosed.
This demo marks the revival of the Castlevania franchise, bringing the classic series back to players ahead of the full game’s release.
