Paper co-op deckbuilder Hellcard 2 has a new demo that you can play right now
Hellcard 2, the sequel to the critically acclaimed original Hellcard, has launched a new cooperative demo available for immediate download. The announcement was made during the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct presentation.
Hellcard 2 is a co-op roguelite deckbuilder in which players descend into dungeons battling enemies and bosses within a distinctive paper-craft aesthetic. The game uses papercraft models and pop-up book-inspired visuals to create a tactile, three-dimensional feel that sets it apart from traditional digital deckbuilders. This artistic direction makes the card gameplay feel more tangible and real.
The original Hellcard earned ‘Very Positive’ reviews on Steam, establishing a strong foundation for the sequel. Hellcard 2 maintains the cooperative roguelite deckbuilding formula while expanding the experience with new content and refined systems available to test in the current demo.
The playable demo allows players to experience core gameplay firsthand, exploring paper dungeons and engaging with minion and dragon encounters.
