Nightdive Studios has unveiled new gameplay footage for its remaster of the classic stealth game Thief: The Dark Project. The footage was presented as part of the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct event, offering players an extended look at the modernized version of the original title.
The gameplay reveal showcased protagonist Garrett engaging in his signature thievery across a variety of environments, including the iconic Bafford’s Manor, sewers, crypts, tombs, and dungeons. The trailer highlighted the remaster’s visual improvements while maintaining the core stealth gameplay that made the original a landmark title in the genre.
Thief: The Dark Project Remastered is being developed by Nightdive Studios, the team known for other successful remasters and ports of classic games. The project aims to bring the 1998 original up to modern standards while preserving what made it an all-time classic in gaming history.
