Pirate poker battler Piroker has a playtest you can sign up for now
Piroker is a newly announced asynchronous multiplayer poker game that combines pirate-themed aesthetics with competitive card gameplay. The game was revealed during PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct with an accompanying animated trailer.
In Piroker, players select a pirate captain and compete against seven other opponents in matches focused on forming the best poker hands possible. The game deliberately blends nautical pirate themes with the unpredictability and strategy of poker, creating a unique gaming experience that should appeal to fans of similar competitive deck-building or card games like Balatro.
The game is currently planned for release on Steam with a release date still to be announced. A playtest is now available for interested players to sign up for, allowing them to experience the game before its full launch. This early access opportunity gives the community a chance to provide feedback during development.
