Call of Duty Warzone Officially Shutting Down Next Month on PS4, Xbox One
Call of Duty: Warzone, Activision’s free-to-play battle royale game, is ending support on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The shutdown will occur shortly after the October 23 launch of Modern Warfare 4, the next mainline entry in the Call of Duty franchise. The game will continue to be playable on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
This decision aligns with the industry trend of phasing out last-generation console support, as Modern Warfare 4 itself will not be available on PS4 or Xbox One.
