Arena Breakout Becomes Waifu Shooter with Girls’ Frontline 2 Crossover
MoreFun Studios has announced a new crossover collaboration between Arena Breakout and Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, bringing Tactical Dolls from the strategy RPG franchise to the mobile tactical shooter. The crossover is confirmed for the mobile version of Arena Breakout, with no indication the event will extend to PC platforms.
This represents the second major collaboration between the two franchises, following a limited-time mission event featuring Girls’ Frontline content in 2024. Arena Breakout has established itself as an active platform for crossover collaborations, with the title previously hosting events including a Resident Evil partnership earlier this year.
The addition of Tactical Dolls demonstrates the ongoing trend of live-service games leveraging popular intellectual property to drive player engagement. As the mobile tactical shooter market becomes increasingly competitive, crossovers with established franchises offer developers a strategy to attract players from adjacent gaming communities and introduce fresh content to existing audiences.
