Sony Turned The DualSense Into Live, Laugh, Love For Lisa’s New PS5 Controller
Sony has announced a collaboration with Blackpink member and Thai K-pop star Lisa to create a limited-edition DualSense controller for the PlayStation 5. The controller will retail for $84.99 and will be accompanied by a merchandise collection split into two unique assortments. Pre-orders for the Lisa x PlayStation collection will open in the U.S. on October 2, 2026, with a full launch on October 30.
The limited-edition controller incorporates personal design elements meaningful to Lisa. The touchpad features an illustration of bangs and eyes referencing her signature look, while the controller also includes star motifs and “LL” lettering set against her personal favorite colors. The collaboration builds on Sony’s existing partnership with Lisa, who became PlayStation’s global ambassador in 2025 and has appeared in Sony commercials featuring her favorite games, primarily marketed in Asia. Lisa has additional gaming credentials as a self-proclaimed gamer who served as the Season 12 headliner for Fortnite Festival from November 2025 through February 2026.
This limited-edition DualSense is part of a broader trend of licensed controller designs, following previous collaborations tied to games like Marvel’s Wolverine, Marathon, and GTA 6. Being limited-edition, the controller may prove difficult to obtain for interested fans, particularly given Lisa’s prominent fanbase.
