Love Nikki Player Shuts Down Fan Website Over Game’s ‘Irreverent’ and ‘Demonic’ Clothing Designs

A fan-run website supporting the mobile game Love Nikki – Dress Up Queen has shut down after its administrator quit due to religious concerns about in-game content. Nikki’s Info, launched in 2018, served as a comprehensive community resource, compiling clothing and accessories, story guides, update information, and other player resources. The site’s administrator also maintained a Patreon offering exclusive guides and community insights.

The shutdown came after the administrator determined certain clothing designs in the game were “demonic” and conflicted with their religious beliefs, prompting them to step away entirely from the game and community. In response, the admin announced that Patreon supporters would receive refunds for their subscriptions.

The administrator’s announcement, published in a blog post on the site itself, has since gone viral on social media, generating significant discussion within the Love Nikki community. The incident reflects broader tensions between players and developers regarding character design and artistic content, particularly when game design choices conflict with players’ personal or religious values.
