Team Vitality’s legendary Counter-Strike roster has returned to winning form, capturing their first trophy of the season by defeating Aurora 3-1 in the Grand Final of StarLadder StarSeries Season 20. The victory marked a triumphant comeback for the organization, which had struggled in recent months, falling short at BLAST Bounty, EWC 2026, and BLAST Porto.
In a dominant performance, Vitality swept Aurora across three of four maps, securing commanding victories on Anubis (13-4), Mirage, and Cache to claim the championship. The team only dropped a closely contested Inferno match that extended to the full 24 rounds (13-7), showcasing their overall strength across the map pool.
The Grand Final victory holds added significance as it provided redemption for Vitality, who had previously fallen to Aurora 2-1 in the Upper Bracket. This tournament win comes at a crucial time as the team prepares for the upcoming PGL Singapore Major, one of the most prestigious tournaments on the competitive Counter-Strike calendar.
