Ghost of Yotei players discovered a substantial 29GB patch deployed to their PS5 installations today. The update prepares Sucker Punch’s acclaimed samurai action game for the Complete Edition enhancement scheduled to launch at the beginning of next month.
Notably, several features previously advertised as exclusive to the Complete Edition have already gone live, enabling players to access new content immediately. These include the Beauty of Yotei mode and transmog functionality, which allows players to customize their equipment appearance and stats. This staggered rollout approach gives the community access to elements of the upcoming refresh before the full Complete Edition release.
The massive patch should not be confused with the Echoes of Sekigahara DLC expansion, which represents a separate planned release coming at a future date.
