‘Coyote vs. Acme’ Officially Gets Streaming Release Date

Coyote vs. ACME, the animated/live-action hybrid film, has officially secured a streaming release date following a dramatic turnaround in its distribution history. After Warner Bros. Discovery shelved the movie in 2023 as a tax write-off, widespread fan backlash prompted the studio to reverse its decision. The filmmakers were subsequently allowed to pursue alternative distributors, leading Ketchup Entertainment to acquire the rights in March 2025 for $50 million.

The film finally debuted in theaters on August 28, 2026, where it was met with critical acclaim and achieved a solid $80 million in worldwide box office revenue. Building on this theatrical success, the movie will now become available on Amazon Prime Video beginning September 29, 2026, at midnight EDT. Digital pre-orders are currently open, with the film priced at $24.99 on both Prime Video and Apple.
