League Classic to Add Aatrox, Caitlyn, Irelia, Karma, and Quinn

Riot Games has confirmed the next set of champions coming to League of Legends Classic through the PBE. Following the recent addition of the Bilgewater set (Graves, Fizz, Nami, and Nautilus), five classic champion versions will be added: Aatrox, Caitlyn, Irelia, Karma, and Quinn. These older iterations of playable characters represent previous designs from the game’s history, as Riot periodically reworks champions to modernize their gameplay and mechanics.

The new champions will become playable starting October 7, 2026, with League of Legends Patch 26.20. This phased approach to Classic champion additions allows players to gradually experience different eras of the game’s roster and provides insight into how champion design has evolved over time.

The article includes detailed kit information for Aatrox’s classic iteration, featuring the Blood Well mechanic as its passive ability. This passive stores self-inflicted damage from ability usage and can be converted to health recovery when Aatrox takes fatal damage, restoring between 35% and 135% of the well’s total pool over three seconds.

League of Legends Classic continues to serve as a preservation mode for older champion designs, allowing both veteran and newer players to experience how the game’s roster has changed. The rotating introduction of classic champions keeps the mode engaging while maintaining a connection to League’s competitive history.
