LoL 26.19 Patch Notes: Big Buffs and Nerfs Before Worlds 2026
Riot Games has released League of Legends Patch 26.19, marking the final update before the Worlds 2026 championship patch (26.20). The patch includes extensive champion balance adjustments designed to reshape the competitive meta ahead of the world championship.
Notable changes include significant buffs to Lucian, aimed at making the champion viable in the mid lane, and adjustments to Aatrox following nerfs to Sundered Sky that impacted the jungler’s viability. Aatrox received cooldown reductions on his W (Infernal Chains) and adjustments to his E (Umbral Dash) healing ratio to restore his position as a threatening champion.
The patch represents Riot’s final opportunity to balance the game before Worlds 2026, with the 26.20 patch serving as the locked-in version for competitive play at the championship.
