Here’s Your First Look at 3 Cards From Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution — Delta Reign, Due to Launch This November
The Pokémon Trading Card Game is preparing to launch a new expansion set called “Mega Evolution — Delta Reign” on November 6. The set features over 135 card designs centered around Mega Evolution mechanics, showcasing Pokémon including Mega Malamar, Mega Golurk, and Mega Rayquaza.
IGN has revealed three cards from the upcoming release, featuring the Grass-type starter Sprigatito and its evolutionary line. Sprigatito, known as the Grass Cat Pokémon, is depicted in the card artwork settling down for a nap on a trainer’s bed. The card carries 70 HP and includes a Play Rough attack, though its damage output is noted as relatively modest for competitive play.
Players can evolve Sprigatito into Floragato, which increases the Pokémon’s HP to 90 and features the Slash attack for significantly increased damage output. The set continues The Pokémon Company’s ongoing focus on Mega Evolution-themed expansions, which highlight powerful temporary power-ups that players can use during gameplay. With over 135 unique card designs planned for this expansion, Delta Reign offers substantial new content for both competitive players and collectors interested in building new decks or expanding their collections.
