PSA: Sorry, Argos’ Deep Discounts On Some Top-Tier Switch 2 Games Sold Out Like Hot Cakes
Argos briefly offered substantial discounts on several top-tier Nintendo Switch 2 games, but the promotion sold out almost immediately. The retailer had discounted copies of titles including Pokémon Pokopia and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Nintendo Life’s coverage serves as a public service announcement to readers who missed the opportunity.
The rapid sellout underscores how rare deep discounts on physical game releases have become in the current retail landscape. Significant price reductions on quality physical titles are exceptional in an era increasingly dominated by digital distribution. The swift depletion of Argos’ inventory demonstrates strong consumer demand for physical Switch 2 games despite limited promotional availability.
The incident serves as a reminder to gaming enthusiasts to monitor retailer promotions closely, as such deals emerge sporadically and disappear within hours. For Switch 2 players seeking discounted physical games, the lesson is clear: action must be taken immediately when substantial savings surface to avoid missing out.
