LEGO One Piece Exclusive Character Posters Revealed
IGN has exclusively revealed character posters for an upcoming LEGO One Piece animated special set to premiere on Netflix on September 29. The two-part special adapts the beloved pirate adventure series into LEGO animation, featuring the iconic Straw Hat Pirates crew including Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Usopp, Sanji, and Chopper.
The special’s narrative centers on tall tales recounted by Usopp to Chopper, chronicling the crew’s adventures across the East Blue and into the dangerous Grand Line. This storytelling approach allows the LEGO adaptation to revisit memorable moments from the One Piece saga while maintaining the series’ characteristic blend of humor and adventure.
The LEGO One Piece special represents a collaboration between LEGO’s established track record of animated productions and Netflix’s extensive investment in One Piece content. The announcement follows recent reveals of One Piece’s third season in Netflix’s live-action adaptation, demonstrating the franchise’s expansion across multiple media formats on the streaming platform.
The exclusive character posters showcase how LEGO’s animation team has reimagined the franchise’s distinctive character designs in brick-form, appealing to both seasoned One Piece enthusiasts and audiences new to the series. The special is designed to attract fans of both LEGO’s animation catalog and the One Piece universe, bridging two popular entertainment properties.
