Shoot the tires, please
Wardogs’ Humvees present a formidable threat to players, equipped with thick armor that withstands multiple RPG impacts and mounted machine gun nests capable of decimating infantry squads. However, PC Gamer highlights a critical vulnerability that many players remain unaware of two weeks into release: their tires.
Shooting a single tire reduces the Humvee’s maximum speed by over half, while destroying two tires brings it to a near-crawl. Though this doesn’t destroy the vehicle or disable its gunner, the reduced mobility creates tactical opportunities. The slowed vehicle becomes vulnerable to flanking attacks targeting the exposed gun nest, while forcing the driver into a difficult choice: attempt risky repairs under fire or retreat at severely compromised speed.
Content creators like YouTuber Min Max Lab have begun highlighting this counter-strategy, and awareness appears to be spreading through multiplayer matches. As more players discover this weakness, it may provide better balance against the otherwise overpowering Humvee threat and improve viability for infantry-focused squads.
