The next classic polygonal Namco arcade game getting a home release is Xevious 3D/G
Namco is releasing Xevious 3D/G, bringing the arcade version of the classic shooter to home platforms for the first time. While a 3D interpretation of Xevious was previously ported to PlayStation 1, this marks the first home release of the actual arcade version, continuing Namco’s initiative to make its classic arcade library accessible beyond arcade cabinets.
Xevious 3D/G represents the company’s polygonal take on the foundational shoot-em-up franchise. The release addresses long-standing demand from collectors and enthusiasts who have been unable to experience the arcade build outside of physical cabinets. This effort reflects broader industry momentum toward video game preservation and the ongoing value placed on making classic titles available to modern audiences.
