Rockstar reveals a £350 box of naughty GTA 6 collectables you definitely wouldn’t get through airport security
Rockstar Games has announced a $400 (£349.99) collector’s edition box for Grand Theft Auto 6 called “The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection.” The premium merchandise set, inspired by the game’s in-game TV show, includes 10+ themed items but notably does not include a copy of the game itself.
The collection includes a 6-inch Macca the Gator figure with a stash compartment, branded Oakley Frogskins sunglasses, a New Era snapback hat, Leonida Keys crossbody bag, enamel pins, a magnetic mirror, shot glass, swizzle spoon, razor blade keychain, and sticker pack. The set is available for pre-order now through Rockstar’s website with limited quantities, releasing on November 19 alongside the game’s launch.
The announcement has sparked significant backlash from fans who argue the price lacks sufficient value, particularly given the absence of the actual game. The reaction has drawn comparisons to previous Rockstar collector’s editions for GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, with players questioning whether the merchandise justifies the cost. Some items—particularly the razor blade keychain—have been humorously noted as problematic for airport security, referencing the game’s mature and satirical nature.
