Silent Hill: Townfall’s Pharmacy Locker Code Will Be The First Puzzle To Stump You
Silent Hill: Townfall features the series’ signature cryptic puzzle design, with multiple obtuse challenges that block story progression. Early puzzles include a pharmacy locker puzzle requiring a four-digit code that players must piece together from clues broadcast on an in-game CRTV channel, following the tradition of the Silent Hill franchise’s obscure puzzle solutions.
Later in the game, players encounter the Clara Woods mission puzzles—a set of three interconnected challenges that must be solved to craft a special item needed to unlock the Atlas Way gate (also called the ‘strange gate’). This gate blocks access to the CEG Headquarters during the “Missing Parts” mission. The three component puzzles involve a floppy disk puzzle, a tape puzzle, and a lamenting poem puzzle, each contributing to the larger objective of opening the path forward.
Once inside the CEG Headquarters, players face the projector puzzle during the “Richard: Another Attempt” mission on the fifth floor. This puzzle consists of two phases: first locating missing projector parts (the bulb and lens) scattered throughout floors one through five, then inserting projector slides in the correct sequence to complete the presentation and advance the story. These puzzles exemplify the game’s commitment to the Silent Hill series’ tradition of cryptic, context-dependent challenges that require careful exploration and synthesis of information from multiple sources.
