Xbox Is Adding New ‘Game Tile Tags’ To Help Track Achievements And Other Things
Xbox is rolling out a new dashboard feature called Game Tile Tags that displays additional information directly on game tiles, including achievement progress and social data. The feature provides a quick visual overview of ongoing game activity without requiring users to open individual game pages.
Currently, the tags are being tested exclusively with Xbox Insiders enrolled in the Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead rings. The UI elements appear either inside or above game tiles, offering at-a-glance information about player progress and connected social features.
The update represents Microsoft’s continued effort to refine the Xbox dashboard experience, though reception may vary among users—some view the new tags as a helpful way to track progress, while others may find them visually cluttered.
