Control Resonant’s post-launch plan includes a Photo Mode and New Game Plus Plus coming next month: “Do 665 runs if you want!”
Control Resonant, the latest action RPG from Remedy Entertainment, has launched and the developer has already outlined its post-launch feature roadmap. Following a day-one update to address combat balancing, Remedy plans significant additions in the coming months: New Game Plus Plus arrives in October, followed by Photo Mode in November.
New Game Plus Plus represents an enhancement to the existing New Game Plus mode, allowing players to chain multiple NG+ runs consecutively without erasing their progress—enabling theoretically unlimited playthroughs or up to 665 runs as Remedy humorously suggested. The feature addresses a limitation of the current system where progress must be deleted between runs. Photo Mode will provide players with tools to capture and customize screenshots from the game world.
Additional cosmetic outfits are also planned as part of post-launch support. Notably, Remedy has not indicated plans for story expansions or substantial narrative DLC, despite the studio’s history of releasing major add-ons for previous titles. The developer has emphasized its commitment to listening to player feedback, with these planned features appearing to directly respond to community requests.
