Dawngazer – Ignisphere Teaser Trailer
Good Smile Company and Takafumi Noma, the acclaimed director of Unicorn Overlord and veteran character designer from Vanillaware, have officially launched “IGNISPHERE,” a newly created IP brand. The announcement was accompanied by a teaser trailer introducing an expansive original world featuring numerous nations and races, setting the stage for an epic narrative universe.
The first game to emerge from the IGNISPHERE universe is “Dawngazer,” an Action RPG currently in development by Monochrome Corp. under the publishing and promotional efforts of Good Smile Company. The game is slated for release in 2028 and will launch across Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Steam platforms. The title will support Japanese, English, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese languages, indicating a focus on Asian markets.
This marks Noma’s first major project since departing Vanillaware, representing a significant new partnership with Good Smile Company, the company best known for their merchandise and character licensing business.
