“Do 665 runs if you want!”: Control Resonant is getting a new game++ mode next month, and don’t worry you happy snappers, a photo mode is on the way too

Control Resonant launched with immediate developer support from Remedy Entertainment. On the same day as its release, the game received a hotfix that addressed various player complaints regarding combat mechanics, making the experience more manageable for those finding the difficulty challenging.

Beyond this initial patch, Remedy has outlined their post-launch roadmap, with a more comprehensive update scheduled for next month. The studio plans to introduce two significant features: a New Game++ mode and a photo mode.

The New Game++ mode will enable players who have completed the main story to continue their experience with additional progression opportunities. Players will have the chance to pursue previously undiscovered side quests or locate content they may have missed during their initial playthrough.

The photo mode will allow players to capture and share gameplay moments, a feature increasingly common in modern games. These updates demonstrate Remedy’s commitment to post-launch support and expanding content options based on early player feedback.
