Star Wars Episode 10 Has Found Its Director
Disney and Lucasfilm have hired Jon Watts to direct an upcoming Star Wars film, marking a significant development for the franchise. Watts, best known for directing Marvel’s Spider-Man trilogy featuring Tom Holland, will helm what is being described as the first film in a potential new Skywalker Saga trilogy. The project is being written by Simon Kinberg, a screenwriter and producer known for his work on the X-Men franchise, including X-Men: Days of Future Past, Apocalypse, and Dark Phoenix. While Disney has not yet officially greenlit the production, the announcement signals the company’s continued investment in expanding the Star Wars universe following previous films in the saga. The specific plot details and release timeline remain under wraps as the project enters its development phase.
