Review: Voidjoy GA-10 Elite Extender For Switch Pro Controller - The Pros Don’t Outweigh The (Mod) Cons
The Voidjoy GA-10 Elite Extender, manufactured by JSAUX, is an add-on accessory designed to upgrade existing Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers without requiring a full replacement. The device adds back buttons and analog triggers to the controller, offering expanded functionality at a lower price point than purchasing a new Pro Controller 2, which retails for $90 USD / £75 GBP.
With gaming hardware costs rising alongside general inflation, the Elite Extender presents itself as a budget-conscious solution for players seeking enhanced controller features. Rather than investing in entirely new hardware, players can augment their existing Pro Controller with additional inputs and capabilities.
However, Nintendo Life’s review suggests the accessory has significant drawbacks. The assessment indicates that the cons of the Voidjoy Elite Extender outweigh its benefits, suggesting that despite its appeal as a cost-saving measure, the product may not deliver sufficient quality or functionality improvements to justify its cost. The review’s mixed verdict suggests players should carefully consider whether the add-on truly enhances their experience or represents another accessory that falls short of its promises.
