Enhance Your Ace Combat 8 Experience with Two Rival PS5 Flight Sticks, Out This Week
Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve is releasing this week as one of 2026’s strongest gaming contenders. The flight combat title has earned critical praise, with PushSquare awarding it an 8/10 and Metacritic tallying an impressive 87 score, establishing it as a strong Game of the Year candidate among an already stacked year of releases.
Coinciding with the release, two rival PS5 flight stick controllers are launching this week to enhance the Ace Combat 8 experience, offering players dedicated hardware for more immersive flight combat gameplay.
This week represents a particularly busy period for PS5 releases, with a “bumper release schedule” bringing multiple major titles to market simultaneously. Alongside Ace Combat 8, gamers can expect The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered and Toem 2, among over 21 PS5 and PS Plus titles launching during the October 28th–4th window.
