Blizzard gifts Diablo 4 players one of the game’s rarest crafting materials to apologise for Season 15 issues
Diablo 4’s Season of Hell’s Legacy launched over two weeks ago following BlizzCon, but the season premiere experienced significant technical difficulties. The launch was disrupted by a multi-hour delay caused by login errors and server stability issues that prevented players from accessing the game during the initial hours.
In response to the problematic launch, Blizzard has issued an apology to affected players through a compensation gift: a Resplendent Spark, one of Diablo 4’s rarest crafting materials. The gift was distributed via the Horadric Post mailing system, a new feature introduced alongside the season launch. Players who logged in received a message from Blizzard stating, “We’re sorry for any unexpected issues you may have experienced.”
The Resplendent Spark is a valuable crafting material used for high-level character progression and customization, making it a meaningful compensation for the disrupted launch. This gesture reflects Blizzard’s effort to maintain player goodwill following the rocky seasonal debut, which contrasted sharply with the positive reception the season had received at its BlizzCon announcement.
