Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Is The Next Tetris 99 Event
Nintendo celebrates the recent launch of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave on Switch 2 with a special Tetris 99 crossover event. Beginning October 2nd and running through October 5th, the 57th Maximum Cup will feature exclusive Fire Emblem-themed content.
Players who earn 100 points during the event will unlock a unique Fire Emblem theme for Tetris 99, complete with special artwork, original music from the game, and custom Tetrimino designs inspired by the franchise. This collaboration reflects Nintendo’s strategy of using Tetris 99’s live-service event structure to drive engagement with major new releases while keeping the puzzle battle royale title fresh for its established player base.
The event underscores Nintendo’s integrated approach to supporting new console releases, leveraging flagship service titles to celebrate and cross-promote their latest exclusive content.
