God Of War Laufey Preorders Go Live September 29, Here’s What Each Edition Includes
Sony has officially announced that preorders for God of War Laufey will open on September 29, 2026, with the highly anticipated sequel set to launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 on February 16, 2027.
The upcoming title will be available in two distinct editions. The Standard Edition will be offered in both physical and digital formats, providing players with flexibility in their purchase options. The Digital Deluxe Edition will be available exclusively in digital format, catering to players who prefer to own games digitally.
Sony has not yet officially announced pricing, though based on the company’s typical pricing strategy for major releases, the Standard Edition is expected to cost $70, while the Digital Deluxe Edition would likely be priced at $80.
Both editions include identical preorder bonuses, featuring the “Last Wish” armor set for Faye rendered in a bluish color scheme and a cosmetic appearance for Phranque. The Digital Deluxe Edition provides additional cosmetic items beyond the standard preorder bonuses, though the full details of these extras remain incomplete based on the available information.
This announcement marks the official opening of preorders for PlayStation Studios’ next major exclusive title in the God of War franchise.
