This mod delivers what Valheim was missing all these years: seasons

A new mod for Valheim called Seasons has been added to PC Gamer’s recommended mods list. Created by modder Shudnal and distributed via Hexium, the Seasons mod adds dynamic seasonal changes to Valheim’s biomes, introducing spring, summer, fall, and winter variations to the game’s environments.

The mod is highly customizable, allowing players to adjust season length, weather patterns, and other seasonal effects to their preferences. The addition comes shortly after Valheim’s 1.0 official release, which launched less than a month before the article. PC Gamer updated its best Valheim mods recommendations list about a week after initially publishing it, primarily to include this Seasons mod.

The mod addresses a long-standing feature gap in Valheim, bringing environmental variety and seasonal atmosphere that players had been requesting. With Valheim’s official 1.0 release now establishing the game as a completed title, community mods like Seasons continue to expand and enhance the player experience with new content and features.
