007 First Light Is Getting Free DLC Later This Week

IO Interactive has announced that 007 First Light will receive free DLC content this week. The developer posted a teaser video on social media confirming the DLC’s arrival on Thursday, October 2, 2026, with more details to be revealed on October 1.

While IO Interactive has not officially confirmed the DLC’s contents, the teaser video features a car speeding past, leading to strong speculation that the long-awaited Aston Martin Valhalla will finally be added to the game. The Valhalla has been teased in the game’s main menu since launch and appears as a prominent vehicle near the end of the game in a major set piece.

The expected DLC will likely include a new TacSim mission featuring the Aston Martin Valhalla. This continues IO Interactive’s pattern of releasing free post-launch content for the title. Previously, the studio released update 1.1.0, which introduced two new TacSim missions, an additional weapon, and cosmetic items. Players have also been informed about an upcoming mission featuring musician Lenny Kravitz.

The announcement represents part of IO Interactive’s ongoing live-service support for the James Bond title, maintaining player engagement through regular free content drops.
