Castlevania Is Also Getting A 40th Anniversary Concert Tour Next Year
Konami has announced a 40th Anniversary orchestral concert tour celebrating the Castlevania series. The tour, titled “Castlevania 40th Anniversary: An Orchestral Concert,” promises “an epic concert event celebrating 40 years of vampire hunting, monster slaying, and musical excellence,” according to the official tour website. Three dates have been announced so far, with performances scheduled for Japan, the United Kingdom, and North America.
The announcement comes as Nintendo prepares its own 40th Anniversary Concert Tour for The Legend of Zelda series, indicating a growing trend of long-running gaming franchises commemorating their histories through live orchestral performances. The Castlevania concert will showcase the iconic video game music from across the franchise’s four-decade history, leveraging the series’ renowned soundtrack and musical heritage—a defining element since the original game’s 1986 debut. Additional tour dates are expected to be announced in the coming months.
