ESL Pro League Season 24 at Katowice Tournament Guide—Schedule, Format, and Teams
ESL Pro League Season 24 is set to take place October 3-11 at the Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland, marking the return of Counter-Strike competition to one of the esports scene’s most iconic venues. The tournament will feature a group stage running from October 3-7, followed by playoffs on October 9-11.
This represents a notable transition for the event, as it shifts from the IEM Katowice format—which last ran in February 2025—to ESL Pro League’s established structure. While some fans may mourn the loss of the IEM branding that had become synonymous with the Katowice venue, the format change brings certain advantages for attendees, with the Spodek Arena’s setup optimized for Pro League’s competition structure.
The move reflects broader changes in the competitive Counter-Strike landscape as tournaments continue to evolve their formats and schedules. ESL Pro League Season 24 at Katowice maintains the venue’s reputation as a premium destination for high-level Counter-Strike competition.
