God of War Laufey – Pre-Orders Open Now Trailer
Sony has announced pre-orders for God of War Laufey, a PlayStation 5 exclusive launching February 16, 2027. Pre-orders will open to the public on September 29, 2026.
The game will be available in two versions: a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition, both starting at $70. Both editions include the same set of pre-order bonuses, though specific bonus details were not disclosed in the announcement.
God of War Laufey centers on Laufey, the warrior wife of protagonist Kratos from the previous God of War games. The game promises a new adventure for the character, with the marketing suggesting her story continues beyond her previous fate in the series. This marks the first time the franchise has centered a mainline release on a character previously in a supporting role, indicating either a spin-off or prequel to the existing God of War narrative.
