Set up your own ramen bar and explore a voxel cyberpunk city in the slice-of-lifey Nivalis Nights, out now

Nivalis Nights, a cyberpunk slice-of-life simulator developed by ION LANDS, has officially launched after a prolonged development cycle. The game, originally titled simply “Nivalis,” was first announced in 2021 with an initial release target of 2023. Multiple delays extended the launch until 2026, when it finally arrived.

Set in the same cyberpunk universe as ION LANDS’ previous title Cloudpunk, Nivalis Nights takes a notably different gameplay approach by focusing on restaurant management and lifestyle simulation. Players establish and run their own ramen bar while exploring a voxel-based cyberpunk city. The game blends the slice-of-life simulation genre with cyberpunk aesthetics, offering a more relaxed business-building experience that contrasts with the typically action-oriented cyberpunk genre.

The extended wait from announcement to release reflects an ambitious development vision, with the studio working to ensure the title met their standards before launch. Nivalis Nights represents ION LANDS’ expansion into the lifestyle simulation and restaurant management space while maintaining the cyberpunk setting established by Cloudpunk.
