Pokémon Go ‘Harvest Festival’ 2026 event guide
Pokémon Go’s 2026 Harvest Festival event runs from September 29 through October 5, featuring seasonal gameplay updates and the debut of shiny Applin, a green apple-themed Pokémon. During the event, players can place Mossy Lure Modules on PokéStops to spawn apples on the ground, which can yield either consumable items or trigger Pokémon encounters.
The event escalates on Friday, October 2, when the Harvest Festival transitions into a Team Go Rocket Takeover event, introducing adversarial gameplay alongside the farming-themed content. This crossover combines multiple game modes to extend player engagement throughout the event window.
The Harvest Festival features a premium Go Pass track with 30 primary ranks and 30 additional bonus ranks. Players will unlock a Super Rocket Radar through progression, a special item required to encounter high-level Team Go Rocket encounters and providing endgame progression for invested players. The event also includes branching Timed Research tasks that offer narrative progression and optional gameplay paths.
