Astro Bot’s 276 Piece LEGO Set Will Be Available Standalone for $24.99
A new 276-piece LEGO Astro Bot construction set is being released as a standalone product for $24.99. The set will also be bundled for free as part of a LEGO PlayStation 1 replica set, creating a cross-media merchandising opportunity for the franchise.
Astro Bot originated as a tech demo within The Playroom VR, a PS4 title released in 2016, before evolving into a full-fledged game franchise. The character has since become a flagship PlayStation property, particularly following the release of Astro Bot on PS5.
This merchandise collaboration between LEGO and PlayStation’s Team Asobi studio represents an expansion of the character’s reach beyond video games into physical collectible products. The partnership reflects the broader trend of video game franchises expanding into multiple media formats and product categories, appealing to both longtime fans of the Astro Bot series and new audiences interested in PlayStation-branded merchandise and collectibles.
