PC and console revenue charts led by new releases in August | Newzoo charts

August’s gaming revenue charts saw significant activity with numerous new releases competing for top positions across PC and console platforms. EA Sports’ Madden NFL 27 debuted at No. 2 on console, establishing itself as a major revenue driver for the month. On the PC side, House House’s cooperative title Big Walk made a strong entry at No. 3.

Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Zero Company launched across both platforms, securing No. 6 on PC and No. 20 on console, demonstrating the continuing appeal of the Star Wars franchise in gaming. Additional notable entries to the charts included Mortal Shell 2 and Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, which appeared on both PC and console platforms, indicating strong cross-platform interest in these titles.

The PC charts specifically featured notable debuts from Dazed Games’ How to Fish at No. 9 and Torn Banner Studios’ No More Room in Hell 2 at No. 19. On console, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls entered at No. 14. Meanwhile, Pokémon Pokopia demonstrated sustained interest in established franchises alongside the new releases dominating the month’s revenue discussions.
