LEGO PS1 Now Available to Buy from PS Direct, with Free Astro Bot Set
Sony has officially launched an iconic LEGO PlayStation 1 set, now available for purchase from PS Direct starting October 1st, 2026. The official set comprises 1,911 pieces and retails at $160, offering a relatively accessible price point for a LEGO set of this scale and detail. The build captures the distinctive design of the original PlayStation console, appealing to both gaming enthusiasts and LEGO collectors.
As part of a promotional campaign, customers who purchase the LEGO PS1 set receive a complementary LEGO Astro Bot set included with their purchase. The Astro Bot set is also available for standalone purchase through LEGO’s website, allowing consumers to acquire it independently without buying the PlayStation set.
Industry observers and retailers anticipate that the LEGO PS1 set will sell out rapidly, driven by strong nostalgia appeal and the continued popularity of LEGO’s licensed gaming merchandise. The product represents Sony’s continued efforts to capitalize on PlayStation’s heritage through consumer merchandise and collectible products.
