New Pokémon x ESA Collection Includes the Astronaut Pikachu Plush That Went to Space
The Pokémon Company has launched an official merchandise collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) featuring products modeled after an astronaut Pikachu plush that traveled to the International Space Station. The collection’s centerpiece includes two new Pikachu plushies priced at $29.99 each, designed to match the ESA spacesuit worn by the original plush that accompanied ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot during her ISS mission earlier in 2026.
Timed to coincide with World Space Week 2026, the collaboration extends beyond the plushies to a broader merchandise assortment. The collection includes apparel, enamel pins, and trading card game accessories, all available through The Pokémon Center online store. The partnership represents a unique convergence of entertainment and space exploration, with the plushie’s real-world journey to the ISS providing an authentic narrative that distinguishes this merchandise launch from typical licensed character collections.
