Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Complete FAQ—Release Date & Times, Game Pass, Early Access & Platforms
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is Activision’s latest annual entry in the long-running military FPS franchise and marks the final installment in the Modern Warfare reboot saga. The game is scheduled to release on October 23 across multiple platforms, though players in certain time zones will gain access earlier due to regional release windows—specifically at 9:00 PM PT on October 22.
Regarding subscription services, Xbox Game Pass subscribers should note that Modern Warfare 4 will not be available on the service at launch. However, Activision has confirmed the title will be added to Xbox Game Pass at a later date following its initial release, allowing subscribers eventual access to the game without a separate purchase.
The release represents another milestone for the Call of Duty franchise, which continues its tradition of annual releases and remains one of gaming’s most commercially successful properties. As the conclusion of the Modern Warfare reboot trilogy, this entry is expected to wrap up the narrative arc established in the previous installments before the franchise potentially moves in new creative directions.
