GTA 6’s 18+ age rating reveals Lucia and Jason can partake in drug use “directly from their inventory” and “at any time”

Grand Theft Auto 6’s age rating was briefly revealed online, confirming mature content ahead of the game’s November 19, 2026 release. A PEGI 18+ rating posted on the Pan European Game Information board was quickly removed, but not before players captured and shared the details across social media.

The rating description confirms GTA 6 features “frequent and prominent” drug use accessible “at any time” directly from characters’ inventories as an integrated gameplay mechanic.

More significantly, the rating indicates GTA 6 will feature explicit sex scenes, potentially making it the first mainline Grand Theft Auto game to include such content intentionally. This represents a notable escalation from previous entries, which avoided explicit sexual content following the “Hot Coffee” scandal surrounding Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

The US M for Mature rating includes warnings for blood and gore, intense violence, nudity, strong language, strong sexual content, and substance use. The UK rating is 18+. These content descriptions appeared on PlayStation and Xbox store pages across multiple regions, confirming what Rockstar Games has included in the highly anticipated title.
